Programming Scenes

Can anyone direct me to UI5 tutorials to create scenes where I select (Home) and run one set of scenes run or (Away) and a different set of scenes run?

When we’re home I would like the motion sensors to turn on bathroom and hallway lights after dark.

When away, I would like lights and stereo to come on for 4 hours after dark and motion sensors to trigger multiple Sirens, except on Mondays between 8 and 4pm when cleaning ladies are there.

You will want to check out Conditional Scene Execution.

If you come across difficulty, there is lots of help here.

I was hoping there was an easy non-programming answer directly with the UI5 interface! :frowning:

Thanks for the reply!

I recommend using PLEG. http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,17624.0.html

I have replaced most of my scenes with it. If you can think it, it can do it. And the community here is great at helping with it.

+1

I am programming impaired and have managed to create conditional scenes almost out of the box. Awesome plug-in

If you REALLY don’t want to use PLEG watch this video for an idea how to do some things using the arm functions.

PLEG is a lot more efficient, and easier to program once you get the hang of it however.
