does anyone know of a z-wave installer in Las Vegas. A mobility impaired friend is building a new home in Las Vegas. He has just broken ground. So, no electrical has been installed. He is interested in Vera and z-wave. Does anyone know of an installer of z-wave products in Las Vegas?
Have you considered a low-voltage, hard wired solution?

c-bus,vantage. There’s tons. I would run conduits to device boxes whenever I could. Consult an automation company. Have them wire it for both. Any lights you want controlled by home automation, have the electrician pull all the lights feeds to a central location. Then pull low voltage AND line voltage wiring to the switchboxes. Install for both scenarios. It’s cheaper now that the walls aren’t up yet. The sky is the limit of course. It really pays to have an electrician with some foresight and experience planning the installation.
