My Aeotec 4-in-1 multisensor has stopped responding to my Vera 3. The Vera can’t contact any of the sensors at all.
I’m assuming it’s gone faulty, but before I ship it back for exchange, does anyone know of anything I might have missed. I deleted it from my system and was able to re-include it, but only the parent device shows up on UI5. It should configure individual devices for each of the 4 sensors.
I found the solution. It was on a micasaverde wki! Should have looked first :o
Basically, after including, you select ‘configure node right now’ from the UI5 settings window. Then the device status says its waiting for the device to wake up. You then press the include button on the sensor, then all the individual devices appear. It takes a while for the readings to appear, but eventually they do.
@Pete - I had a similar problem to yours, until I updated the device firmware.
Does it stop at just having the motion sensor be “configured”? The other 3 devices have “N/A” in the Configured at field under the Settings tab, and are controlled by the motion sensor under the Advanced tab, instead of Vera. They also have funny ID names e.g. e1, e3, e5.
Also, are you able to use the temperature sensor as a trigger anywhere? I’m not having much luck with it, although the motion sensor works great. The UI seems to be showing the correct temperature (I have it sitting next to an ACURITE standalone sensor), but could I possibly have a misconfigured temperature sensor?
