Powered Sensors that work with Vera

Hi,

I am interested in powered sensors that work well with Vera: sensors for light, temperature, motion etc., door opening, window opening. I’d rather pull some wires to the sensors than force people to change batteries each year or so. Any recommendations?

The HSM100 Multi-Sensor can be powered check out this post at Z-Wave World: http://zwaveworld.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=494&hl=hsm100. Don’t know if MCV has done is yet but once powered the Sensor can be become part of the routing table 8)

If you look further it’s mentioned that these sensors can be ordered with modifications, including power jack, starting at 200 units. So all it takes is to find a dealer…

That post is over 2 years old (July 2007) - alot has changed with the technology since that was written

What exactly changed about power jacks on HSM100?

No need to find a specialized dealer since I am OK with using a soldering iron ;D
