Post your Vera UI4 with SCREENSHOT

Hi All,

as Vera let us configure hundreds of possible constellations, I would like to have a topic where the people put a screenshot of his or her UI4.

It would be interesting if it will be indicated the key features and the eventually the interfaces set up.

Enjoy the topic…

Matteo

I start with mine.

Key features

  • Control my lights
  • Alarm system with Door and windows motion control and 2 Camera
  • USBIRT to control my TV and HIFI
  • SOMFY interface to control my shades
  • Control my thermos with my Danfoss Living Connect
  • Smoke sensor
  • Different sensor to set up some scenes

I didn’t like the UI so I made my own.
30 dimmers
DSC alarm system
6 Panasonic Cameras
1 thermostat used for alarm only

Tim

@teonebello

Good thread idea, you don’t want to see mine as I’m running VEra1 on UI2 still

Couple questions, what blind solution are you using, I see you’re using the somfy plugin, but curios to the actual aesthetics of the blind ?
Why are you using windows sensors? Are they battery-powered or hardwired?

I like the idea of sharing screenshots, it could potentialy give me ideas I might not otherwise have thought of.

I am in awe. I am unworthy.

Here are mine, I had to split them into 4 since I have so many damn devices!

Here’s mine

HI Raskell,

which kind of thermostat are you using?

I have a Danfoss to control my heat (you can see in my previous post), bit I don’t see the current temperature on the device, only the max and min.

Thanks
Matteo

@Raskell, looking at a number of you light switches I noticed that your devices have Watts being displayed is this an option that you turned on or is it unique to the particular switches?

@deimos_anomaly, notice that you have On/Off switches or are they virtual switches for your camera’s, Can you share why and how?

General observation, I noticed that some batteries are displayed as green icons (like mine) and some are gold looking icons, would have though they would have been standardized (kind of like the gold ones).

Thanxs Mike

Vera has 4 different icons for the battery, depending on the level remaining. Judging by the names the thresholds are around 25%, 50% and 75%.

[...]devices have Watts being displayed[...]
In the newer firmware there should be an option 'Energy used' in the Settings tab of the device. For devices that don't report energy, you can manually put a number in there and Vera will keep track of usage.

@oTi, Thanxs for the come back… I’ve learnt something new today re “Energy used” since none of my device was able to report Watt, I quickly went around the house and summed the various bulb wattage’s, I found a few with higher wattage that I wasn’t aware of. Mike

The on/off switches are appliance modules so I can remotely reboot my cameras, two of them are currently wireless cameras and need rebooting often. Same goes for my cable modem my internet goes down frequently and I can reboot the modem from a handheld remote or my Xoom tablet.
