Being used to my iOS or Android devices that automatically or almost automatically update apps, how do I know about plugin updates for Vera? What do I do to check?

To date, I believe you have to individually check the plugin page: http://apps.mios.com/
True, as for the moment this part of apps.mios.com is not working, just as many many others. So you have to check manually for now…

I, too, assumed that since apps were set with ‘auto update’ checked that they were doing so. I’ve been checking this forum for over a year and have never seen any discussion on apps not updating, but I’m sure I missed it. However, it did not jump out at me as an obvious issue.
I searched for ‘update’, ‘app update’, and ‘plugin update’ and I found nothing useful, clear, or helpful.
When I go to apps.mios.com and log in, I can get a list of the apps installed on my device. There is NO reference to version in this list that I can see. If anyone does come up with a proper way to do these update, please post directions here.
Here’s one discussion.
(I’m starting to do forum searches through Google instead. It’s got a better page ranking algorithm than the SMF implementation, and more fuzzy word matching.)
