Anyone working on a plugin for the GE Control 4 system?
I found this reference on how to set it up, but no plug-in can I find.
Radjin,
If the plugin isn’t on the MiOS Marketplace, you will need to install the plugin by manually uploading the files (all of them) like UI4 users already do. Follow the UI4 installation instructions with the files that Garrett has pointed you to. Some menus have moved in UI5 (look for Apps > Develop Apps).
Following the directions here and at the link: GE Concord Alarm Panels, I uploaded the files, and created one device using each file. The directions did not specify that I needed to create a device for each item. At the moment I have the device for the concord 4 panel that has only a clear button, a device for alarm control with “Away and Stay” and two other devices with no controls. All but the clear button reply with a not implemented box, so I assume I missed a connection some place.
Suggestions?
By the way, thanks for all of your help. I never thought I would have to hack my way through setting up my system. Reminds me of when I used to have an Android phone; but it’s a fun challenge.
Radjin~~
Just create one device using the D_Concord.xml file. That file contains references to the other files internally.
When I did that at first. No other devices were created as described on the help page. I restarted the unit with the same affect.
I am guessing that there is a necessary configuration step that you haven’t done. Are you sure that you have configured the serial port correctly, and attached it to the plugin?
I found the extras was set to 1 and changed to 0. All the sensors and alarm control piped up. But trying to set the alarm has no effect. Also sensors show the status when they appeared but do not change
