Plug modules that don't block both plugs

Are there any plug/appliance modules that don’t block the other wall plug. I know there are the Aeotec/Aeon Labs ones but I really don’t care for them since the weight pulls down on the plugs.

If neither the Aeon Labs DSC24-ZWUS Smart Switch Z-Wave Appliance Module or the GE/Jasco 45603 Appliance Module doesn’t work for you, then the only thing I could recommend would be to replace the receptacle itself with a GE/Jasco 45605 Duplex Receptacle or something similar.

Thanks, I didn’t see the picture of the GE/Jansco plug in action. Now I know how big it is.

The GE/Jasco applicance module does not block both of the outlets. And it also has an extra plug (uncontrolled) on the module itself to replace the outlet the module uses (as well as the zwave controlled outlet on the other side of the module).

The module is big though, so if you have furniture close to the outlet, it may not fit. (In those situations, use the zwave outlet/receptacle as suggested).

Thanks all for the information. I did end up getting the Aeon Labs one since I found them cheaper ($30) and had to buy a bunch for holiday decorations. These will only be temporary but if I do need something full time I’ll look into the GE/Jasco modules.
