PLEG Dim question

Is it possible to slowly dim a light through PLEG?
Am i right in thinking i have to use the LUUP code as if i were using scene for pleg to work on a slow dimm config?

You can do it in PLEG with a timer that changes the level by a small amount and repeats until the desired level is reached.
