PLEG and the Hue

I have some Hue lights in my upstairs hallway.
The light switch is a GE/Jasco, which I gather doesn’t have an instant response
What I’d like to do is:

Select a color preset for the Hue when I turn on the light

Once I turn the lights on, I can select teh color preset through the vera UI but I cannot create a trigger that when the light is turned on that the 3 hue’s have a preset selected

You can create a trigger … but without instant status … it will not actually trigger until Vera polls it.

What switch is the current favorite with instant status?
I have 2 slave switches that need to be hooked up as well

I find that Hues work much better when they power to them is left on. Hue bulbs will always come up the default color and brightness when they first receive power, and it is unlikely that a command to switch the color will be received before the bulb has already been on for several hundred milliseconds. What I do with my Hue bulbs is leave the power to them on and switch them on and off with scenes.
