Please help with settings for the Aeon Labs Aeotec DSC26103-ZWUS Micro Switch

My Vera crashed and after restoring from the backup I had to exclude and include my locks again.

I’m not sure exactly what happened but Aeon Micro Switch got registered as a Lock.

I used lamp module as template to modify settings and now can turn switch on, but not off.

I would appreciate it if somebody could copy/paste settings for this switch.

What I have now:

device_file: D_DimmableLight1.xml

Capabilities: 82,220,0,4,64,3,R,B,RS,W1,|37,39,43,44,112,114,133,134, (probably wrong)

device_type: urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:DimmableLight:1

ManufacturerInfo: 134,3,26

PollSettings: 10800

VersionInfo: 3,3,40,2,8

Thanks in advance!!!

You’re using a template for a dimmer when you should be using a binary switch:

device_type: urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:BinaryLight:1
device_file: D_BinaryLight1.xml

But, what I would recommend is excluding the module, reload Vera and then include it again. That should clear your issues.

Z-Waver,

Thank you very much.

Yes, I can exclude module and reload Vera, unfortunately my unit behaves badly on reloading, last time I had to restore my configuration twice from the backup before making everything more or less working.

Get this fixed, even if you have to open a ticket with Micasaverde. Vera should be able to reload without any issues. The LUUP engine reloads every night and you will be forced to reload when the power goes out or some such. You don’t want to invest a lot of time configuring your system only to have everything be lost with a power outage.

Micasaverde support is great. Let them fix your Vera.
