I’m considering installing a couple of PIR occupancy sensors but I share my house with 3 German Shepherds ranging in weight from 60 to 85lbs.
I’m looking for a sensor that can actually distinguish between my fat ass (200+lbs) and their not so fat asses as I want the sensor to only react to humans and not canines. 
I’ve seen a number of sensors listed as being able to detect pets but I’m wondering if that includes mine. I don’t need the bathroom light on in the middle of the night if one of them wanders in there at 2AM (In good GSD fashion they do like to patrol the house) but would like for that light to come on if I stumble in there.
Anybody have large dogs and a PIR sensor that actually is able to detect and ignore them? Thanks!
