I am looking for added functionality for the Pioneer Receiver plug-in. I want to be able to select Pandora, navigate to a station and start the station to play. I am using UI7. The plug-in I got from the store allows me to manually turn the unit on/off, change volume and select an input (Pandora for example). But I cannot select an input from a scene and I cannot navigate the menu - up/down/left/right cursor and select/enter etc.
I found a modified I_PioneerReceiver1.xml file that TRILEY posted some time back. That file looks like it has controls for navigation but when I uploaded the file to my Vera Lite I did not see the extra controls. Also, when I go to develop apps and open the D_PioneerReceiver1.json in the simulator I get error messages.
I’m wondering if this is at all functional myself. I have tried both in the past with some varying success in ui5/6. I sort of ignore the vera as it is always in some sort of dysfunctional state to do much with, but I’d really either like to get this working, or move onto something that can/does work, and is somewhat supported.
Seems the more updates done to the vera (ui6-7), the less functionality is actually kept in 3rd party devices they don’t natively supports…
This is so cryptic to do anything with, I might as well try OpenHAB.
This is something on my radar as well. I would love to see better zone control for pioneers. I have a 3 zone receiver and the newer pioneers have the HDZone which I believe has a different command set. Lots of work to do here.
