Pinhole video camera feed

I want to install a pinhole video camera (see Hidden Spy Cameras for Home & Business | SpyCameraCCTV) so that when anyone comes to my garden gate, I can see who it is. This one is wireless and the output from the receiver is USB, which will feed to my PC. There are supplied PC drivers.

Can I get my Vera 3 to pick up this video output and either display it, record it or upload it somewhere?

I already have motion detection, that brings on outside lights when anyone approaches, so I don’t need a camera with motion detection. I want to use this detector to trigger the Vera.

I don’t need an infrared camera because I have the lights. In any case, I don’t want a big outdoor camera poking in people’s faces - it needs to be discreet.

Maybe someone has already done this?

Comments welcome,

Pete

you can use http://www.ispyconnect.com/ on your pc ,then add the camera to ispy and then use the feed of the ispy version of the camera to add to vera as a generic ip camera. I’m using this setup and have multiple cameras hooked up on a dedicated pc

Thanks. That’s really useful. It’s exactly what I wanted.
