Does anyone have pin code time restrictions working on a Veraplus Advanced with a Kwikset 916 lock? I specifically bought the 916 lock since Kwikset advertised on their website that you can set time restrictions per pin. I call Kwikset and they say “this has to be done by the controller”.
If I have a pin on the Vera that works fine, once I add a time restriction (say monday thru friday 9-5) the code no longer works regardless of what time I am using it. Even if I use the pin in between that 9-5 window it still doesnt work and Vera gives an error saying there is a time restriction and denies access.
I have read similar posts on here with people saying they are having issues. I specifically bought the Vera and the Kwikset because I needed this specific feature and if I can’t get it working both are going back to Amazon. Trying to get Vera support on the phone is like trying to find Waldo. Do these support people even exist?
I will buy whatever lock + controller combo I need to get time restrictions working.
