Unfortunately to configure PBXes you have to understands basics of SIP and VoIP - they have help and forum on their site.
You have to to define trunk linked to your VoIP provider; an extension, and outbound route to make it work.
Vera texts perfectly…problem is that I turn my cell phone off at night, but I want to get the VERA notifications.
How do I get these messages… I found a SMS forwarder, but I think that VERA has some solution.
Would this also be possible with my Voip capable router and a simple voipbuster account?
Regards,
Henk
Everything is possible - as long as your service allows to initiate a call by http get/post (usually called webcall, call button, etc)
I doubt though that voipbuster has it - check if it has anything like that.
The reason why I mess with pbxes.com is that they are enormously flexible, and have very good Android support (sipdroid.org)
hello guys:
i have tried the plug in…actually i have succeeded with everything except for making the call
when i press ‘‘on’’ the plugin window keeps flashing between on and off and then suddenly stops and my phones NO RING
is that because i live out side the US and CANADA?
looking forward to reading ur reply
No it doesn’t care about location.
Have you setup PBXes trunk, outbound route, and extension?
I only did setup the extension…How to setup the trunk and the outbound?and what they are good for?
thank you
Hi,
sorry to post in this thread…
The pbxes.org doesn’t allow me to add my SIP account as the trunk. A message pop up saying : This provider requires a paid account for security.
I build my own asterisk system last year and i’m pretty confortable with everything about VOIP. But, that pop up error make me really angry!!!
I see on ther forum the same question, but no clear answer…
Thanks!
Bump.
Hi, the website does not seem to have the plugin files listed, am i missing something?
is anyone able to share them, or does anyone now if they were removed for a reason ?
Authors have the right and have executed their privilege to remove their code.
Thanks RTS, I was afraid of that…
So I guess this is dead? I was hoping to set up a scene which calls my mom and chats with her once every couple days. ;D
I know I’m a newbie – but I promise that I searched thoroughly for this answer first…
I have the phone dialer setup to connect me to two different conference calls that happen at a set time every week. Based on the help/support documents the dialer should call the primary number (the one setup in the pbxes.org extension under PTSN) first and then after it is answered, should then ring the secondary number (the one input in the app un the advanced settings) and connect the calls.
It seems as though the calls are being connected simultaneously, resulting in the conference participants hearing my outbound greeting if I fail to pickup the call in time. I’m confident this is a pbxes.org issue, but you cannot post in their forum unless you have a paid account, which I don’t.
Does anyone know how to get this working so that the secondary number is only dialed after I pickup my primary number?
Thanks in advance.
The Phone Dialer Plugin has been removed by the Author.
There is NO support for this.
Weird – I just downloaded it from the “Install Apps” page yesterday…
Oops another similar plugin.
It’s called the same thing. If this indeed a different app, is there a forum/thread for this one for support?
App Image attached.
look at the twilo plugin, similar thing and works like a charm
