Passwords problem

I am a newbie who has probably messed up the initial setup. I have a Veralite with a few attached devices. When setting it up, I was confused with the difference between MIOS and the Veralite. The current situation is:
I have installed the Veralite and it works fine on my WiFi network. I can control the lights using both my PC or AutHomationHD and Home Buddy. These Apps only work in local (WiFi) mode
When logging on, I go to Login. I click Advanced Settings and it loads the Dashboard. When loading the Dashboard, it asks for the MIOS login but then it jumps straight to the Desktop without me entering anything.
When I log in to MIOS at Log In ‹ mios.com — WordPress, it allows me to log in, but then cannot find a Vera. However, all lights are on and it is working fine. I have the same problem when trying to access Veralite through Vera Mobile.

How can I find the MIOS user name and password that is linked to my VeraLite. All advice gratefully accepted.

Hi, I am a noob too and have EXACTLY the same issue…not much help to you, granted, but I’m eager to hear any advice of experienced users.

It depends what firmware version you are using.
UI5 - Initial local screen is a blue theme.
UI6 - Initial local screen is a green theme.

If you are running UI5, you need to create your Vera account at https://cp.mios.com

If you are running UI6, you need to create your account at https://home.getvera.com

Thanks Z-Waver for prompt reply. I m using UI6 - green theme. However, when I follow your link, it takes me to the login page which works fine and shows my Veralite number and MAC address. No problem there.
However, when I log in to MIOS.com, it allows me to log in, but says that it cannot find Vera. My Veralite is on, with 3 lights and working fine on WiFi.
I need to find the MIOS user name and password that is linked to my Veralite. I cannot re register as the site already has my email address and says it exists.
All help gratefully accepted

If you are running UI6 then you must forget about mios.com. It does not work with UI6 at all.

Use https://home.getvera.com

Thanks, Z-Waver. Does this mean that Remote Access is impossible with UI6, and I either have to revert to UI5 or wait hopefully for UI7? This is a disappointment.

You are misunderstanding what he is saying. For remote access for UI6, you must use home.getvera.com.

Thanks Garrett. Home.getvera.com works fine on my PC and I can control the lights on WiFi using PC and AutHomation on Android Galaxy Tab 7. However, when I go to remote on the Tab, it see the Veralite, but when turning lights on or off, I get error http 404. I checked the Unit Info and it is all there but nothing for Active Server. When refreshing, I get Invalid JSON response. Is that the problem or is UI6 still not able to work remotely? Thanks in advance

What version of AutHomationHD are you running?

Hi Garrett,
The version of AutHomationHD is 3.1.3.11 I am running Android 4.2.2 OS on my tablet.

It has been clearly stated on the forum and the app store that the current version of AutHomationHD will not work with UI6. You will need to use the beta version which can be found on the forum.
