Pairing ca600 to vera lite

I,
i’m pretty new to my vera lite, so far i control some x10 device with the insteon 2413u and also interact with eventghost on my computer, pretty straight forward. So with the zwave capability and the better quality of the network, i ordered a ca600 dimmer to test it, i was able to pair it, push the switch button for 10 second and the vera pair it. However, when i try any command, i got transmit fail with code 1. What the problem, i see alot peaple on this forum that are able to control it without any problem exept for the manual swith and the statute. Any advice?

Sorry, the distance is around 15 feet without any wall between them

Why so long? In my experience, the CA600 requires a fairly brief button press.

Nevermind, i just reset the switch with the veralite and then re-paired and now it’s good. Thanks
