OWL CM119

Plugins & Plugin Development USB RFXtrx Transceiver

Hi
I have been using the RFXCOM USB plugin for some time and it’s great, I am using the latest version (10).

I have just got an OWL CM119 and although a tile has been created with Watts and KWH labels no values (not even 0) are displayed.

The RFXCOM USB is indicating that it is receiving.

Any help in setting up this would be appreciated.

Please open the plugin main device and you will find a field named “Last received message”. If the RFXtrx receives data from the OWL, you should see a message starting by 11 5A 01 …
If not, there is no data received by the RFXtrx. The OWL might be too far ?
You can check the logs too, searching for anormal logs with text “RFXtrx”.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice since my post I have had some readings but it is not reflecting the Owl display which I assume it should. I watched the last data received for about 10 mins without seeing the code. Although the Owl display updated during this time, the strange thing is that the Owl is further away from the transmitter. I’ll experiment over the weekend on moving the transmitter ans see if I can get a reliable signal. 433mhz is quite busy around here with weather station, Digimax thermostats and neighbours home easy remotes.
