Outlet Stopped Working

I have a HomeSettings HA01 outlet that I just installed and paired today. I just noticed, a few hours later, that the LED was off. The manual button is not working either. The non-switched socket continues to work. Obviously Vera can’t connect to it either now. Has anyone had this happen before?

Edit: It’s almost like the internal circuit was “tripped” because the manual button doesn’t have the same “click” it did when it was working. Any suggestions on how to reset it, if possible. I tried cutting power to the outlet for a minute but that didn’t do anything.

It sounds like you have a bad receptacle. Get a new one.

I have about 10 Cooper Aspire outlets at home and a couple of those have similar behavior like yours.

For me to fix it, I had to flip the switch in the circuit breaker, wait 10 seconds and flip it back on. It’s almost like a “reboot” to that circuit, and for me, it fixed the issue and the local button would restart responding again.

Obviously, if this continuously to happen, get a new one! =)
