So Here is my dilemma, I have a light for my pool which is located outside in metal box with my pool pump timer etc, the box is about 30 feet away from my Veralite. I would like to be able to control the light from inside my house as it’s a pain to have to go and open up the pool box to turn on and off the light. There is no switch currently in the house that controls the light. Can anyone recommend a way to somehow control the light via ZWave ??
If the box is water proof put a Fibaro switch unit on it. I’ve got in installed in a water proof box for external lighting and it works fine. I don’t have a manual way to turn the lights on and off but that’s only because I chose not to install a switch.
I’ve a few fibaro switches sitting in water proof boxes as well, no problem since installing them 6 months ago (and we get plenty miserable weather here)
