For those of you who are still using the original DIY native Alex integration, it now supports getting temperatures (e.g. “Alexa, what is the temperature of Kitchen?”). For some reason Amazon have only enabled that for the US, but all other features still work in UK and Germany. Just paste the code in to your lambda.
If you aren’t using it already, stick with the one that Vera provide.
