Hi all… I’ve successfully moved all my hue bulbs, lamps, strips, etc to my VeraPlus using the Hue Plugin. I’ve been able to use luua to retrieve ‘status’ of the bulbs as in ON/OFF and Load Levels for dimming, etc.
I can’t find how to query/store COLOR attributes (saturation, hue, etc). Has anyone figure this out?
I’d like to save the entire ‘status’ of a light (for example) and if ON, I’d like to also save hue and saturation so that when my garage door is open, the bulb will be set to a certain pre-defined color (using a preset), but MOST IMPORTANTLY, I’d like to RESTORE its setting when the garage door is closed. So if the light was blue, return to blue… if it was green, return to green, etc. If it was off, I can already return it to off, but I can’t get the colors stuff to work.

Sounds like a nice workflow use case for Altui …
Agreed, I need to start trying this out as I hate Hue and it’s bulb reset on a power outage. Nothing like a whole house of bulbs resetting and illuminating 100% at 2 am…
