I have some IP security cameras and Blue Iris (BI). Currently I am sending text message notifications for movement via BI. The problem is that when there is movement over a long period of time (playing/working outside the house) I get constant notifications. In BI I can set a timespan within which no additional text messages are being sent. However, I only want to block these additional text messages when I or certain other people are not home.
It seems to me the best way to achieve the above is through vera (rather than BI) and using geo-fencing. However, I have not managed yet to send text messages through vera and including an image from my camera. Does anybody know how to do this?
