I have my Schlage lock programmed with codes for people to get in and it works extremely well. My problem is that I do not know if they have left.
How can I get a notification when someone opens the door from the inside??

I have the Schlage lever, and that doesn’t keep track of lock and unlock or entry and exit, only PIN entries. For this door, I have a door/window sensor that tells me when it’s been opened, but I obviously can’t tell who opened the door. I could have that fire an event to capture a photo if necessary, though.
In addition to PIN entry and notification, the Kwikset deadbolt logs each time the lock is unlocked from the inside, but Vera isn’t yet set up to send notifications on these events.
I think the door sensor will work. Thanks!!
In my case, if I know who goes in, I can safely assume that I would know who is going out.
I will have to think about double notifications or I can enable it for when I really need it.
Thanks for the advice!
