Might be a silly question, but does anyone make a notification chime for Z-Wave? In my mind’s eye, I see something shaped like a Staples ‘Easy Button’, battery-powered, that rings a chime and flashes an LED when an event is triggered, such as one of my motion sensors being tripped, or a door being unlocked ‘after hours’… I’m thinking it would happen more ‘real time’ than my current setup-iPhone next to the bed waiting for an email and/or text message.
“SSA will sound a loud audible alarm >110dB@1m and an intense strobe lighting when an alarm signal is received from a device in the Z-Wave home network”… Every time the motion sensors being tripped
I would think ACT ZRF113 connected to some quite old fashioned chime…
I put a lamp module with an old fashioned night light plugged in.
Cheap, easy.
You can also use an appliance module with something that beeps when it gets power (like a CO detector).
