I am having issues setting up a new PLEG it keeps on loosing things and is not saving properly. Can be triggers, schedules, conditions and actions. I enter my configuration then click on back and then hit the Save Changes button, I then reload LUUP and then refresh the browser and 9 times out of 10 what I have just added has gone making PLEG pretty much unusable at the moment.
VeraEdge UI7 v1.7.1509 (beta) Support got me to update the firmware last week to try and fix something else.
PL Core v7.48
PL Event Generator v7.47
Auto Update is checked on both.
Am I doing something incorrect or is there a known problem?
Thanks
EDIT: I am using Chrome web browser on Windows 10 to access the Vera web GUI.
I created a new PLEG instance today for Heating and Lighting and I am having the same problem, most of the time it does not save what I have entered in to it and it just disappears. I don’t know why its doing this?
Just reload the lump from where you are that is what commits the changes. If you are editing conditions then hit reload when you are done editing the condition. If you are in inputs reload from there when you are done editing.
The save changes button you are hitting is only for the device name and room assignment and has nothing to do with saving in PLEG.

OK many thanks
So after editing inputs I should then reload and after editing conditions I should then reload again.
Under inputs I just added a new schedule, I then clicked the Reload Luup button that is in this area. Vera reloaded and I then refreshed the browser and went back in to the PLEG now under inputs - schedules my new schedule has vanished.
EDIT: That was using Chrome browser. If I open Vera in Internet Explorer instead the new schedule is still not listed so its not a browser issue I don’t think.
Finally after 6 or 7 attempts the new schedule has now stuck and is not vanishing. But PLEG is pretty much unusable for me at the moment due to this issue.
I am now trying to add a new condition and when done I clicked on the Reload Luup button in the Conditions area. Vera then reloads. I then refresh the browser when the reload has finished and go back in to the PLEG and look at the Conditions.
In this instance it has saved the condition name which is cFrontLEDsOff (it didn’t save the comment I added) and the contents of the condition have vanished. It should have had sFrontLEDsOff in the condition.
I just followed the instructions and named the file J_ProgramLogic.js and uploaded it to Vera.
Note there was not an existing file already named J_ProgramLogic.js so not 100% that was the correct file name?
There was an existing file called J_ProgramLogicC-UI7.jsenc
Any ways after reload / refresh I tried to add another new schedule and still have problems, it saved the schedules name this time, but it lost the comment I added and it also lost the actual schedule I setup, like the days of the week and the time had all gone / vanished again.
StartType for the schedule was set back to Unknown, I set it to Day of Week.
I’m still having big issues with PLEG not saving stuff and it just disappears which is very frustrating, edits which should take 10 minutes can take over an hour having to re-enter everything over and over until I get lucky and it sticks.
Vera Edge is now on Firmware 1.7.1707
Program Logic Core 7.48
Program Logic Event Generator 7.47
I do a lot of work in PLEG and it seems like all of a sudden I started having to wait random amounts of time before committing my changes. So I would make my changes and wait 5 to 10 minutes before clicking “Reload LUUP”. After the reload completed I would refresh my page and the changes would stick but not always. I had times where they stuck after a couple of minutes and times where they did not stick after 15 minutes. I have a ticket open with Vera support on the issue. I will report back once this gets addressed.
So I just made some changes and waited 15 minutes to reload the luup. After reloading the luup I ran a status report which showed that all of my changes were gone. I then reloaded my browser for good measure and when I went back into my conditions they most certainly were gone. This is getting to be a serious issue and is crippling my ability to use PLEG.
