Hi i have problems with af fibaro FGR221 unit, not realy problems but more a strange configuration isue. At the Vera page this unit has several options like an up, down and stop button and they all work well. Now i want to config them in SQ remote but all the te switches i can find have only up and down buttons. I like to use my screen maybe on a strange way but i wat to stop them in the middel of my windows.
Is there al sollution fort his. Excuse me for my englisch ![]()
I have a different type of shade controller setup, however in SQremote it allows me to set it as 0,25,50,75 or 100% Can you not do the same thing?
Hi Strangely,
I tried that but it will not stop until it is at the top or at the bottom. but anyway thanks for the suggestion. i can fix this in an other app (Automator) but i like the idea that i can manage everything whit one app.
All of the shade interfaces like the Somfy URTSI and ZRTSI, or RS232 to RS485 control of Somfy SDN or ILT shades should work using the Up/Stop/Down buttons on the device in Vera, the Fibaro FGR221 and other motor controllers work better with the open/close buttons. The Up/Down controls should correspond to on and off as with a dimmable light. The open and close controls actually send the shade to 0% and to 100%. So they are not sending the same commands and one is reversed from the other as you can see.
It might be the difference between interfaces and controllers and which way they think open is. Either way it would help to have a simple 0/1 switch in the advanced tab to reverse either set of buttons so you could make the simple change regardless of if you were using an interface or a controller.

+1 for a toggle in the advanced setting to reverse the open and close buttonsâŠin my instance I have to use up and down for my shutters but the status is shown via the open and close buttonsâŠwhich for me are wrongâŠclose is open and open is closed.
The stop seems to be a problem in the Z-Wave world. When using Vera with the window covering class config. the stop works. On remotes with rocker switches (on/off, dim up/dim down), the motor should stop on reverse, that is what Z-Wave has written in the command class. If it doesnât, I would be interested to know if one of the 2 prodcuts (remote or motor controller) maybe is not certified??
