No Luup Plug-ins to install???

Hi there.
OK. This is my issue… and I am starting to get really annoyed by it:
When I go to Devices/Luup plugins/install uninstall plugins I get a blank page with absolutely nothing on it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just a shot in the dark here, but is your Vera box hooked up to the internet?

I’m pretty sure those luup plugins are downloaded from MCV servers…Hence why your getting a blank page.

Vera does have an internet connection. Tried configuring it even remotely and I get the same blank page.

Thanks though.

I think that’s a known bug. At least it was in 939, and I didn’t see it being fixed in the release notes.
Hopefully they’ll get it back in an upcoming release.

I used to have VERA connected to my home router and I had this issue. Now I am plugged into my modem directly and everything is working just fine.
I couldn’t find anything in my other router that would block anything to VERA. It did have an internet connection and I could connect to it remotely. Strange???

This issue has been discussed already and we figure it out how to fix it. Read here: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=2422.msg9914#msg9914

The short answer (which has so far worked for me) is to telnet to your Vera box, and edit /etc/resolv.conf. Insert a new “nameserver” line at the top of the list. First go to:

to find a good resolver close to you.
Save the file.

The way Vera set itself up in my case was to first use my primary router as a nameserver. This method points it directly to a decent performing lookup that answers quickly.

See if that helps.
