So I just got this and I followed the directions to get started, but no lights come on when I plug it in. I can hold down the button that looks like a battery and they all flash once, then after a few seconds the blue light blinks slowly, but goes off when I release the button. What gives?

Did you install the batteries? If so that would explain the blinking light when you press the add button. Do you have a Volt Meter to check the voltage coming out of the wall adapter? I am guessing you have a bad power adapter or the outlet it is plugged into is not working.

You don’t need batteries installed and I never leave batteries sitting in the unit.
If you can’t power it up from the wall wart, then you either have a bad wall wort, outlet or vera is no good.
Yep, Amazon replaced the unit and I confirmed it was the power. Wish I had a spare handy, woulda saved Amazon the trouble.
