No internet access - wireless bridge

Hi

Yesterday i’ve installed the RFXCOM (usb) device on my vera. I made the intitial error in installing the App from “Apps” instead of following the installation procedure from Node Central Blog: Working With Vera On a Different Frequency (RFXCOM’s RFXrtx433) | Node Central

This caused my Vera 2 to go in a kind of rebooting loop. That meant i had to reset to factory default and restore an earlier backup. After following the instructions from node central blog, the RFXCOM plugin now works like a charm.

But since the restore, i have great problems in connecting through cp.mios.com. When i connect locally i get the error “no internet access”. I connect wirelessly to an airport extreme, and i have almost full coverage/signal.

When i run af network test, the system reports: Gateway: OK, DNSSERVER: OK, Google.com: FAIL, sta2.mios.com fail.

Have tried to enter the ISP’s DNS information directly, and for a moment i had internet access. But now it’s gone again. Regardsless of entering the DNS directly to my router or to my ISP’s DNS information.

Any ideas?

I’m running my vera as “Through a wi-fi accesspoint. Vera is a bridge” for several months now without any issues.

Cheers

I seem to be having this same problem. Were you able to resolve?

I got exactly the same a week ago!! Pls help

EDIT: Solved, at least temporarily. Just changed back to “Automatically configure” after fiddling with manual ones for a couple of hours :-(. But now I am  again…
