When you say night camera, do you also want it to work during the day, indoors or outdoors? I personally use an ACTi acm-3511 dome indoors, it’s a day/night camera, 1.3MP, and at night it switches off the IR filter and fires up IR emmitters that will light up a very large room, good for at least 30’-40’. Also has a varifocal lens which is sort of a 4x manual zoom lens. Outdoors I use their bullet cam, the acm-1231, same specs, just works outdoors. I use it with their free software, ACTi Enterprise NVR that works great, comes with a free IOS app.
Frankly, I would not try and integrate it with the verde system as surveillence cameras of this quality will tax that system. I run mine on a tiny Zotac Zbox computer with an Atom processor, lower power consumption, plenty of power to handle a dozen cameras.
