Marc,

Should we be expecting another update release anytime soon? Previously you mentioned the last one took a long time as your team was revamping its process to ensure more consistent updates. Is there a set schedule of how often you expect to put out new updates?

Be careful asking this in public. Last time I did this, my karma shrunk with more than 200 in 1 week…

Not quite. It was part of the smitefest that was occurring…!

No static release schedule. We have no idea when the next release might be and, frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if Vera Ltd. didn’t know either. In a recent post, someone from Vera talked about Amazon Alex integration and implied that it would be in beta soon. But, experience shows us that soon could be two moths or, just as easily, two years.

I find it rather disappointing how slow they have been to resolve issues with the Vera Plus and get it working as it should have been back in January. But, I won’t harangue the employees over it. If/when I’ve had enough, I’ll move on.
