Newbie Question: Foscam FI8910W Disabled for Scenes?

I can use the camera in the Dashboard…

However my camera seems to be disabled in the Scene…There is a red circle with a slash (think ghostbusters) over my camera…How do I make that go away?

I can’t seem to use the camera in a scene…(maybe a basic example would help?)

I do not have anything else being controlled by Vera Lite at the moment, so I installed the virtual switch app…I thought I might be able to use it as a switch to turn on/off the recording of video from the camera…

Can anyone help on this? I’m brand-new to Vera…just got it today…

I know this thread is 8 months old, but I am having this same issue…

I just got my first Foscam and I just want to be able the archive a snapshot within a scene… ???

I’m with this guy. no responses to this post but its still an issue.

I can see the snapshots take from the webcam in Vera (ui5) but can’t seem to use this camera in a scene.

any one got a clue?

You can do some actions with the camera in a scene. Using the Advanced tab of the scene editor, you can select the camera and some actions are available (GoToPreset, etc). The options through the GUI are somewhat limited.

Another option is to execute LUA code through the scene editor to control certain aspects of the camera (IR on / off, etc).
