New Firmware - UI5: 1.5.532

When will this officially be released? Or general available?

There is no date and there could be a good chance that 1.5.532 will not be the released firmware to the public.

Will there be “any” update at all then?

Is that the latest private beta or is there a newer version?

It is the latest private beta we have been given to use on the beta side. I am sure they have much newer versions for internal testing.

Garrett, how come you’re “sure”? And does anyone else (MCV?) knows wheather or when there will be/we can expect and update?

@SanderL,
Garrett is giving you the information we have. If you don’t like it, feel free to contact them yourself.

MCV has indicated to us on a number of occasions that they see this forum as a community forum, and that they don’t actively read the posts here…

BTW: the 532 beta worked on some devices, but completely broke others… Mine included. In my case, it reboots Linux daily, and it broken Leviton scene controllers. That was three (3) months ago and they still haven’t fixed it, so I would not be in a hurry to pickup these untested, and completely unsupported releases.

@SanderL,

Also, you could keep an eye on the Release Notes, to see what has been released as private or public beta build, or as official build.

The build numbers and dates may give you an impression of how often they spin a new firmware. A very small fraction makes it to private beta, and an even smaller fraction (see @guessed’s comment) to public beta.

It seems reasonable to assume MCV have progressed beyond 1.5.532.

Hello

where you can find the release notes for the latest beta to see what to expect and in what direction will the development because the competition is fierce in the box automation and more particularly with the developers are zipabox or listen to users
vera on here I feel that users develop more developer had the same so we would like some more info
So those who test beta firmware can at least give us their views on the latest firm
I think the 60X so quite a firm 532 since the last

thank you

Hi , I just recieved the email below concerning an update needed for the fibaro 3in1 sensor:

We should release the new firmware in the next several weeks. You will see on the user interface when the new version is available so you can do the update and if you want to check the fixes and features that we added you should go to this page: http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Release_Notes

Hi Cor,

Thats good news!

May I ask what problems you had with the 3-1 sensor? Is that the universal sensor? Cause I have 2 of those and I have no problems…

@ SanderL: no , it is this one :
http://www.ezhome.nl/zwave/sensoren/raam-deur-sensor/fibaro-raam-deursensor.html

The problem is the scene activation, according the manual, it is possible to activate a scene with this device, but unfortunately this is not possible with the MCV.

With the new firmware it should/might be possible to use this device as a scene activator (parameter 14).
