This one actually says it has z-wave support though it doesn’t go into much detail so I’m not really sure what exactly it does with z-wave. A bit different from the Doorbot and Skybell because the Smartbell actually has a screen. The added features the screen allows are interesting.
didn’t you just commented on how disappointed you were with DoorBot in some other post?
The problem with crowd-funding sites is that there’s no guarantee that the end product will be as advertised. Also the lack of info on how Z-Wave will work with the device is a bit concerning…

none. I’d recommend waiting for version 2 of all these “beta” products.
Also, looks like the verdict is out on “Skybell”, Amazon reviews are pretty bad for the most part :([/quote]
Agreed. There isnt a good one right now, nor has there ever been. But maybe soon…

Doorbot and Skybell reviews are bad + the don’t ship in time where you have to pay and wait forever + Amazon has put both of them on hold. All those kickstarter products are great innovations but I agree that you should consider them as BETA and until they become mainstream, you shouldn’t invest unless you want to become an Alpha or Beta tester of their products and you have enough time to invest.
On a positive note Skybell informed me quote:
