Net & WiFi, Advanced Configuration reset after every reboot

Hi,

I’m trying to disable DHCP and the Vera wireless network via the OpenWRT web pages. Everything works fine until I reboot then the default configuration is re-applied.

Is this supposed to happen???!? >:(

I logged on to the box using telnet and inspected /etc/config/wireless and could see my changes applied but after a reboot the file had been updated back to the original settings (So I’m not crazy after all!).

Why does the Vera have an “Advanced Configuration” link in UI4 to these pages if you aren’t supposed to use them???

I’m hoping I’ve missed the “Don’t revert to factory settings on reboot” checkbox somewhere. Anybody else have this happening? My Vera is pretty new and on the latest firmware.

Apologies if this has been covered, couldn’t find it on the forum. Any help appreciated !!

Yes, this is normal.

This is for advanced configuration which is not possible using our interface (e.g. firewall configuration).
