Need volunteers for vera 3 beta test

We have air-freighted 5 Vera 3s to give away to power users with the most hardcore installations. If you feel like you qualify(Lots of devices, plugins, etc), please make a post here with your:

  • Number of devices
  • Plugins used
  • Types of devices used
  • Alternate interfaces used(SQ remote, etc)

Once we have selected 5 users, we’ll communicate with email and get your backups/address/etc and start the pre-beta testing ASAP.

Everyone else:
We’ll be providing free Vera 3s to everyone else once the main shipment arrives, so be patient and everyone reading this will get to try out our new hardware.

Last time I counted, I had about 55 Z-wave devices that are in use, with maybe 10-15 more sitting in their boxes waiting to be installed. I have Panasonic IP cameras in use, 7 Z-wave locks, 3 thermostas, 2 door sensors, a couple of Harmony 890 Pro remotes, maybe 4 plugins, 2 TED5000 units, etc.

I use the Windows UI for programming and occasional use, and use SQ Remote on iPhones and iPads.

Hmm, since my Vera2 just died recently (LuaUPnP crashes when starting/loading the configuration, see other thread), it’s slightly harder to count and list all my devices and scenes…

I’m contemplating about hard-resetting my Vera2 and re-creating entire setup from scratch - would be nice to do it in Vera3 though… :wink:
