I am looking for help to reset back to factory state my Vera Plus controller. There is areset pinhole but I cannot find the exact procedure to hard reset it. Whatever I tried simply does not work as I think it should. Even if it is rebooting itself after 2 quick pushes of the reset switch, it is booting back without any changes (for example: WiFi settings stay the same as I changed originally).
Basically here is my problem: Vera Plus connected to the main router by cable. Before, I could see and use its IP (192.168.0.116). Everything was working perfectly fine. Then, I modified Vera?s SSID and saved it. Now, I can connect to it wirelessly using new modified SSID without any problem. Problem is, that after the change my Vera Plus controller is always displayed as OFFLINE on the Vera?s dashboard (Login). Also, I cannot access it through its IP (192.168.0.116) anymore. My main router is not showing Vera in the connected clients list anymore (no IP or MAC addresss) despite the fact it is connected and successfully passing the internet connection through it.
Technically, I can use it as Internet access point when my laptop wirelessly connected to it, but cannot accesses it in the browser because it looks like it has no valid IP address associated with it. I have feeling that its static IP address got corrupted somehow during the last save of WiFi-LAN parameters.
I was thinking, if I can change all settings back to the factory, I could start again from scratch. How exactly reset button works? What is the exact procedure for it?
When i had major problems with mine loading LUUP I reset it by leaving it powered up then taking a paper clip into the reset hole and push it 2 times very quick, I had to do it a couple of times but sorted it out

I have excat the problem with my new VERA PLUS. I was trying to set up logging to an external USB HDD, but the device died somewhere during the mounting of the USB HDD.
Then I lost all communication with the device – I have Googled and tried all the reset combinations – 6 resets in 6 sec – the device restarts but after a while, booting up I guess, it start to blink on the INTERNET indicator.
Hope that someone has some hints to get the VERA PLUS hard reset and back online

I was able to solve my issue, with help from Vera Support Team. I performed a network reset, 3 times on the reset, and then I restarted my Internet router. So now I’m back on track.

I was able to solve my issue, with help from Vera Support Team. I performed a network reset, 3 times on the reset, and then I restarted my Internet router. So now I’m back on track.

Vera Support confirmed that you need to press the reset button 6 times in 6 seconds for a factory reset.
I’m unable to factory-reset my Vera Plus. I tried clicking the pinhole switch 6 times, fast, slow, but nothing really happens. My Vera Plus is not responding to anything anymore.
How it got to this state: I received the unit today, hooked it up, and got 5 lights on (power, internet, wifi, Z-wave and Zigbee). The GetVera website did not find my unit and it did not accept the serial number and MAC I entered manually.
Anyway, I was able to connect to the UI and though I’d start the migration process. Somewhere during the import of the backup I might have forgotten to untick the “import Z-Wave” option, after the import the Vera Plus would not start up properly anymore. The radio lights do not come up, and the UI only loads the logo and a non-spinning green circle. After a while it displays the “Luup is taking longer to reload than usual” message.
So something is buggered and I need to factory reset this thing, except it’s not happening.
