Need help with DSC Plug In, new VeraEdge, and UI7

Okay, this “upgrade” from VeraLite and UI5 to VeraEdge and UI7 has been an absolute nightmare thus far!

But I am making headway little by little. Most items are complete now, withe exception of the myQ garage door opener (started topic in another area) and the DSC Alarm Panel. I installed the DSC Alarm Panel Plug In. I set it to Envisalink and restarted Vera. I set the MAC address and that seemed to work and even auto populated the correct IP address. It did its thing for a bit, added Partition 1 and my 6 zones. But I CANNOT seem to change any variables and get them to stick. Here is what I’m trying to change if someone can confirm for me…
-Interface type from IT100 to 2DS
-Door Zones to 1,2,3,4,5,6
-Motion zones to a blank field
-EnableRemoteArm to disarm

I have done this 5 times and nothing!!! There is a little check box under every field in the variables page. Do I need to check that for each field I am changing? I have tried both ways and still nothing.

Also, I notice my DSC Interface Module setting keeps going back to DSC IT-100 instead of Envisalink like I clicked.

Are you by any chance using the Works With Nest plugin? I had a similar issue and went back to the previous nest plugin, which solved my problem.

I am not using that.
I have a call scheduled with support Thursday morning. Will update post after.

I’m anxious to hear how this works. Just started my VeraEdge yesterday and I’m wanting to connect to my DSC PC1864 security system.

Replying to subscribe. I just finished my move from VL to VE. The alarm appears to be working (PLEG actions do arm and disarm as scripted), but I just started getting: “DSCAlarmPanel: Invalid Password for the EnvisaLink module, please reconfigure…”

UPDATE…

I just got off the phone with Alexander C. at Vera Support. He was able to log into my controller and get everything set right and working. All is good now!

Do you have the vera works with nest plugin? I had the same issue. I simply went back to the original nest plugin by watou. Now everything works great.
