Need help wiring Aeon Labs Micro Switch G2 for a 3 way switch

I have read several posts which have helped confuse me even more. I am trying to wire to a 3 way switch with a new G2 switch.

I feel that I can do it, just need some direction. I have 3 boxes, (2 switch and 1 Light) I know that one switch box connects to the other because of the red traveler wire. But the red wire then changes to a white in the next box and then leaves and goes to the light box. I have a drawing attached and for the life of me can’t figure it out. I only have room for the G2 switch either in the box at the top of the drawing or the light box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not very good at drawing or wiring that I do know. The instruction manual is not very definite on the proper way to wire it, other than the load side, that I can figure out.

Thank you for your help

It is very difficult to figure out what you have, based on your diagram. You really need to use a voltage tester and possibly an ohm meter to positively identify each of the wires.

Having said that, it appears that you have the line cable coming in at the light and then the 3-way switches in series form their. If my assumptions are correct, you would wire the Aeon micro switch like in the attached diagram. But, you must positively identify all of your wires.

Thanks for your help, I was hoping wouldn’t have to undo all the wiring to figure out where power is coming in from. I guess will have to pull it all apart, find source and rewire all to make it work like your drawing. Thanks again.
