My verdelite should arrive tomorrow, and I’m really excited about it, however I have some concerns:
My old alarm people were APX (now Vivint), and all their equipment is what I would like to bring into the vera domain. I believe most of their equipment is z wave stuff (or so I am told) and some 2Gig (doorbells) I have doorbells, motion detectors (4), door and window sensors (8), glass breakage (4), video cams (3) by alarm.com and a radio thermostat (CT100) I pulled one of the door sensors off the door, and I see no trade name, but the marking on the inside cover says sayABS M7114, also a number k4809. The panel is a GoControl (which I don’t think it would be possible to use anymore)
I am hoping that some folks in this forum will have done what I did (cut the juice going to the alarm companies costing the earth), and have knowledge and experience, that will help me get up and running.
