Hi,
I have many Merten z-wave items including a Central Unit. Additionally, I have some Duwi en Homepro stuff, a Trickle Star stick and an Aeon Labs minimote.
What would be the best way to set up and control the network on my Vera 3? There is an old Vera 1 (UI4) sitting around somewhere, too.
Options I tried:
[ul][li]Include through Vera: problems with merten battery operated switches: they cannot be programmed (!?)[/li]
[li]Include through Merten: everytime I add something and then copy to Vera, I loose all my names/descriptions![/li]
[li]Include through Aeon Labs: complicated and no real advantages I think[/li][/ul]
Is there a smart way to get this going? What I’d like is to have at least associations with the DC 1/2-gang switches from Merten and the ability to just add one item to the network, preferably using the Vera itself.
