My Vera lite is 90' from my Kwikset lock

I can only control the lock when it’s within a few feet of the Vera Lite. However my front door is 3 floors and about 90’ from the VL. In this location I can control the Lock anymore, any suggestions.

You need other zwave nodes between the door and Vera, and at least one device near the lock that supports beaming/hail!

If you have this, then you perhaps you just need to perform a heal!?

I have nothing in between the two. I’ve just purchased a lamp module and range extender from lowes (Iris/GE-Z-wave) will this work? Also what do you mean by perform a “heal” sorry I’m a newbie :slight_smile:

Most likely you won’t be able to control the lock reliably unless you have some intermediate nodes to create a mesh. Try it out anyway.
