My first vera crash

I was connecting to my vera with my N770, and I got a communication error. Odd says I. I try from my PC and it says log in failed. HMMMM. I go look at vera, and the power LED is off. OK, like a bull in a china shop I (1) hit the reset button (no apparent response) then (2) yank the power and restart it. Vera comes up like a new device.

The good news, the backup restored it.

The bad news, the backup was old }doh{.

No other known issues yet. Bit I wonder why it crashed…

}edit{ The N770 native browser doesn’t like vera. Hangs on checking internet connection while doing a local login. findvera/mobile is ok though.

The good news, on findvera.com , under Settings link, you will find a daily backup of your Vera.

No bad news.

Try to login to findvera.com with your username and password, click the Settings link and download the last working backup and restore with it.

Please send us a trouble report from Advanced/Tech Support on your Vera or a ticket from our website: http://micasaverde.com/support.php and specify the date and time when this crash occurred, maybe we can identify the problem. Thanks!
