MulitSwitch losing its state

Hi, has anyone else come across a situation whereby the MultiSwitch loses its state for no reason at all? If so, any suggestions on how to reset it back to is last know state?

Thanks in advance
John

If MultiSwitch is reverting to a previous state, and there are no scenes, PLEG logic or external http commands causing this, I would suspect that Vera restarted but was unable to save the configuration data. This would show in LuaUPnP.log.

I have this same problem. I haven’t been smart enough to figure it out and with an EDGE sitting around, I been ignoring it really but it’s quite annoying.

Can you identify the time at which this happens? A PLEG Status report or EventWatcher log may help with that. Look at that time in LuaUPnP.log - or post that section - to see what caused the change.

REX,

Mine starts with a reboot for a problem which I don’t know. It just happened, now but will happen when i’m not home also. I closed my pantry door (pleg supposed to turn off light) and nothing happeened. I ran to the computer and logged into vera and I see its in the middle of a restart. I have Info Viewer so I looked in there and I see “VERA LOG FILE” So I clicked on that a saved to PDF. I’m thinking since it doesn’t go back very far i only cought after/during the reboot process, but I have never had anyone look at it and I’m sure you can find some errors. My multiswitches and everything went to all off after this reboot. Ping sensors don’t work right until after a reboot sometimes.

Please let me know if the logs contain anything that shouldn’t be posted.

EDIT: The main log is more then 2MB PDF and it won’t let me post it. REX I’ll get with you on a PM or EMAIL if your info is public.

Hi Rex - any thoughts based upon the log files you received from integlikewhoa?

We have been discussing the situation by PM. It appears that his Vera Lite does not have sufficient available memory to save the configuration data when it changes and/or crashes. When Vera restarts, it reloads its configuration from an old copy so several changes (not just MultiSwitch) are lost.

This does appear to be the case. I really didn’t think I was running to many plugins but VERA lite seems to not hold many.
