Moving question

We are selling our home today, and taking all our ZWave devices with us except for the light switches.

We have moved out of the house and won’t be returning. However, before we left I forgot to remove the switches from my ZWave network.

Is it possible for the new owner of the property to add the switches to a new remote they purchase, or do I have to find some way to go back and delete them from my network?

Yep, they can remove them with any primary controller.

I have a related question, so I thought I’d post it here instead of in a new thread.

My situation is exactly the same as OP, except I’ll be keeping the old house as a rental unit. Light switches & scene controllers will stay. Maybe I’ll go back, maybe I won’t. But regardless, I’m moving to an apartment & will be taking plug-in modules & a thermostat.

I’d like not to factory reset my Vera 2, because other than devices/scenes, I want to keep my configuration (users, network, etc). What’s the simplest way to do this? I want to avoid the lengthy procedure of excluding every device in the house before I leave.

Delta,
I think you must have attention to zwave routing, your network can be slow trying find the devices you do not have near any more.
