Motion Sensor - when does the "Not Tripped" event happen?

Anyone have any insight on this? I could understand “tripped” event that happens when motion is detected. When does the “not tripped” event happen for a motion sensor? thx.

You get a trip event when the sensor first detects motion. You get an untrip if the sensor hasn’t detected motion for X minutes. (X is typically configurable, and called the [tt]On time[/tt] parameter on the HSM100 for example.)

@oTi@ - thx for the info…I have a Hawking HRMD1- However I do not see any variable called “on time” for the Hawking HRMD1.

Also I have a notification that gets sent when the trip event occurs - Now I added one for not tripped - they both appear to be happening at the same time…

I don’t have the Hawking, but it looks like it has a mechanical setting, the Motion Trigger Timer that determines the delay between no motion being detected and the lights being switched off.
