Most mature/functional AV plug-in for recei

I’m new to Vera 3 and HA in general, but learning as much as a I can as quickly as I can. So please excuse the question if it sounds too ‘newbie’ I have spent a couple of hours pouring through the many great posts here and the MIOS marketplace for plug-in information. Okay…here is my question:

I’m looking to get an AV receiver and want to be able to turn on/off, set volume, set input, etc. from a Scene on my Very 3. Which plug-in for this is the most functional and most mature. I’m open to getting a new receiver from Onkyo, Yamaha, Pioneer or other that has best features and is stable.

Both my AV receivers are Yamaha (HTR765 & RXV575) . Not only for the quality but also for the Vera support. There’s 2 different plug-ins for it. One using LUA and one using HTTP commands. I run the LUA one on both and have very little problems with it. My receiver is used as backup alarm clock and comes on in the AM so I can check traffic and weather. It will automatically switch off when I leave the house.

I believe there is a plug-in for Denon and Onkyo but not having those brands I’ve never kept up with it.

I may install the HTTP plugin and try that out on one of them to see if has more options.
