Monoprice no logo motion sensor NOT detecting motion???

I got two Monoprice Motion and temp sensor and included on Veralite no problem:

However, I don’t understand why the two sensors aren’t actually detecting motion??? The manual says that once motion is detected, the red LED will flash, which neither of the sensors do. Creating scenes to activate devices/notifications once motion is detected does not work either. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong here. Any suggestions?

I have two of these Monoprice motion sensors as well, they’re just rebranded Vision motions. The red LED should blink once initial motion is detected and you should see that reflected in the Vera UI as well. Did you have any issues pairing?

Thanks for the help. I had no issues pairing in the least.

Turns out it actually does detect motion however, it takes multiple minutes before it will activate a programmed scene (for whatever reason). What would cause that? I’d like for certain lights to turn on once motion is detected, however it really defeats the purpose if it takes 5 minutes for it to actually run the scene after initial motion.

I adjusted some settings per this forum below to no avail:

Using scenes to activate motion sensors to activate lights is pretty terrible with Vera (at least with UI7). I stumbled upon the Smart Switch plugin a few months ago and it works very well with my motion detectors and door/window sensors. I will warn you upfront that the plugin is designed for UI5 and you have to follow this post exactly and it will work for UI7.
